Tastings

I offer private cheese tasting classes for small groups (up to about 20 guests is ideal.)

For the sake of the guests' palates, it's best to limit the number of cheeses to no more than 5 or 6.

During the tasting, we sample each cheese together while I discuss the way the cheese was made, its history, its region, and its nuances.  I invite feedback from guests.

Cheese tastings can include a wine component. I teach a wine and cheese tasting class at the university and have done private presentations of pairings.

I supply display, sliced bread and fruit.

For larger parties (up to about 50 people), I offer cheese catering.

At such parties, I set up a table with trays of cheese, fruit, and sliced bread.

If so desired, the cheeses can be marked with "cheese tags" -- miniature signs that name and describe each cheese.

I most enjoy standing behind the table and assisting guests with their cheese choices.

The cheese tasting experienced is greatly enriched by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.

My cheese selections can accommodate large and small budgets, and can compliment various party themes.
